How to do it
In the coupehub app: open More and choose Delete account. You see what goes and what stays; tick that you understand and choose Delete permanently.
On the website: log in at coupehub.nl, click your name at the bottom of the menu and choose Delete account, or go straight to Delete account. Then it works as in the app.
If you signed in more than a day ago, we first ask you to sign in again, to be safe.
If you're the only owner of a shop, you delete that shop too. Download your shop's data first if you want to keep it; the button is right there. A subscription then stops at once: you don't have to cancel it yourself first.
What goes
- Your account: your name, email address, password or Google link, language and login sessions, and coupehub's notifications on your phones.
- If you're the only owner of a shop: that shop, with all its customers, appointments, barbers, treatments, locations, settings and photos. The barbers' accounts stay, without access to the shop.
What stays, and for how long
- If you work at a shop that stays, as a barber or beside another owner: what belongs to that shop, such as your barber profile and the appointments in its agenda. That data is the shop's; ask the shop if you want it gone.
- Of a shop we delete, without any customers' data: its name and booking link, the subscription's details and the proof of the data processing agreement. We keep these for our accounts and as proof: 5 years, or until the end of the seventh calendar year if the shop had a subscription. Invoices stay at Stripe for as long as the tax rules require.
- Your email address, when we delete a shop with your account: until we've confirmed to you that it's done.
- Everything we delete stays in our database's backups for at most 7 more days and then disappears by itself.
How long it takes
Your account goes at once; you get an email to confirm it. We delete a shop within a day, and email you when it's done.
Doesn't it work?
Can't you log in any more, or doesn't deleting work? Ask us through the contact details in the privacy policy; then we delete your account within a month.
