A barbershop's customer?

If you book an appointment with a barbershop that uses coupehub, that barbershop is responsible for your data. coupehub processes it only on the barbershop's behalf, under a data processing agreement. For questions about your appointments and data, the barbershop itself is the best place to go.

Which data we process

When you visit the website

Cloudflare, where coupehub runs, processes technical data such as your IP address and the pages you request, to deliver and secure the website. We keep logs of requests and errors for 7 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Statistics

Only if you agree in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics to measure how the website is used. Without your consent we set no analytics cookies. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, and never on barbershops' booking pages. Legal basis: your consent.

When you have an account

If you have an account as an owner or barber, we process your name, your email address, your password (never stored readably) and data about your sessions, such as IP address and browser, to sign you in and keep your account secure. We also send you emails that come with your account, such as the confirmation of your email address and a link to reset your password. Legal basis: the agreement with you or with the shop you work at.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to create your account and sign you in. We don't use them for advertising, don't sell them, and share them only with the processors below, as far as needed to run coupehub.

Who else processes your data

These parties process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: hosting and storage. Our database and files are kept in the EU.
• Resend: sending email.
• Google: statistics (only with your consent) and signing in with Google (only if you choose to).

Some of these parties are US companies. When data goes to the United States, this happens under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep data no longer than needed. We keep account data as long as your account exists. When you close your account, we delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices (7 years). Google Analytics keeps statistics for at most 14 months.

Your rights

You may access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to the processing and have your data transferred. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to the contact address at the top of this policy.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

coupehub only works over an encrypted connection, and we never store passwords readably.
